224,000 tourists visited Azerbaijan's national parks in 2024

During the past year, 224,638 tourists visited national parks in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told Report.

Additionally, 3,515 people visited the national parks during holidays. Specifically, tourists visiting Shirvan National Park and Agh gol National Park observed birds through telescopes, And in the Shahdag National Park, excursions were organized to the frozen waterfall from the Gizil Gaya massif of the Greater Caucasus Bashdag mountain range.
