Vusal Guliyev: Victory in Second Karabakh War is of historical significance

The great victory in the Second Karabakh War is of historical significance, Vusal Guliyev, Head of the Department for Work with NGOs and Communication of the Presidential Administration, said at the closing ceremony of the Victory Forum.

"As President Ilham Aliyev said, this victory is our glorious history," he said.

According to him, the soldiers and officers of the brave Azerbaijan Army advanced step by step and broke through the engineering and fortification systems built by Armenia for many years and liberated the lands at the cost of their blood and lives:

"This victory was ensured thanks to the leadership and the strong will of President Ilham Aliyev, the valor of our Army, and the unity of people and state."

Guliyev also stressed the importance of the decrees of the head of state on the establishment of Remembrance Day and Victory Day in Azerbaijan.
