The voting in early presidential elections is taking place in Salyan.
According to Report's Aran Bureau, the Salyan constituency No. 64 and the Salyan – Bilasuvar – Neftchala constituency No. 65 operate in the district.
A total of 49 polling stations have been created in the district, including 38 in Salyan, 6 in Bilasuvar, 5 in Neftchala.
A total of 52,195 people are expected to vote in the early presidential elections in Salyan. To monitor the election process, web cameras were installed at nine polling stations. The elections are monitored by 692 local observers, two OSCE observers and one CIS observer.
The chairman of the district election commission, Salamat Karimov, told Report's local bureau that people are actively voting at the polling stations. No breaches have been recorded during the voting so far.
