Tural Novruzov: Location of some destroyed mosques in Shusha cannot even be determined

Many mosques in Azerbaijan's Shusha were completely destroyed, and the location of some of them cannot even be determined, executive director of the Shusha State Reserve Department, Tural Novruzov, said at the 1st Cultural Forum of the Islamic World, Report informs.
He noted that historically Shusha existed according to the quarter system: "There were 17 quarters here, each of them had its own mosque and square."
Novruzov also spoke about the research work in Shusha after the liberation: "Both local and international specialists have been involved here, who visit the territory monthly and express their opinion on the restoration work."
