State and government officials commemorate Great Leader Heydar Aliyev - PHOTOS

Today is the 101st anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, world-famous political figure.

Report informs that Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, Head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev, other state and government officials, military personnel, and law enforcement officers visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and laid flowers in front of his monument, expressing deep respect to the memory of the Great Leader.

The great leader's spouse, outstanding ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also commemorated, and flowers were laid on her grave.
