The Global Forum on "New Media in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution", organized within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" and on the occasion of the 148th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, has ended, Report informs.
Representatives of local and foreign media, as well as experts took part in the three-day forum.
The forum included sessions "The Future of Media: New Tools and the Role of Media in Journalism and Communication in the Digital Age", "Investment and Consumer Trends in the Media", "Security Issues", as well as interactive discussions between participants and speakers. The Global Forum also hosted several side events, exhibitions and trainings.
About 150 foreign guests from 49 countries, including representatives of state news agencies of 34 countries, 12 international organizations and media structures, took part in the Shusha Global Media Forum. Besides, 60 heads and employees of local media outlets were among the participants.
