Sergey Markov: Azerbaijani citizens demonstrate high activity in elections

Azerbaijani citizens are highly active in the presidential elections, political scientist, director of the Center for Political Research Sergey Markov said, according to Report.

"We visit polling stations as part of an observation mission. Citizens actively participate in voting, and there is a high turnout," he said.

According to the political scientist, citizens are encouraged by the fact that these are the first elections held throughout Azerbaijan after the complete restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity.
