Reason for Vasif Talibov's resignation announced - OFFICIAL

The reason for Vasif Talibov's resignation from the position of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has been announced.

According to the information provided to Report by the press service of the Supreme Assembly, the eighth session of the sixth convocation of the legislative body was held today.

The agenda of the session included consideration of the appeal of the Speaker of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Azer Zeynalov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Assembly, said that Vasif Talibov, the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, asked to consider his appeal regarding his health.

Later, the draft decision was brought to the attention of the session participants.

The decision was adopted by voting.

Then Zeynalov concluded the session and said that from now on, the tasks and recommendations of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will be their main direction of action, and we will remain loyal to Heydar Aliyev's political line successfully continued by the head of state.
