President Ilham Aliyev: This should be a lesson for every public official

Several former heads of executive power have been brought to criminal responsibility, some have been convicted, and some have their cases in court, President Ilham Aliyev said while meeting with newly appointed heads of executive power.

"This shows that no one can be above the law. One of my instructions when I appointed all the heads of executive power, was that we should fight mercilessly against corruption and bribery, and the heads of executive power should be an example here. Unfortunately, some have gone astray, and today they are suffering from this. This should be a lesson for every public official," the head of state said.
