Oracle Advisory Group poll: Population backs government's efforts to protect country from terrorism

A survey conducted by the American organization Oracle Advisory Group in Azerbaijan ahead of the Milli Majlis elections revealed that a staggering 88% of respondents consider it important to vote for parties that support President Ilham Aliyev, according to Report.

Vlada Galan, a representative of Oracle Advisory Group, said at a press conference detailing the poll results that 95% of survey participants expressed their support for Ilham Aliyev, attributing their backing to the stability the country has experienced under his presidency.

"What surprised us the most was the response to the question of how well the country's leadership protects the nation from terrorist attacks. Every single respondent believes that the country is secure. This is remarkable, as in other countries, we consistently observe the opposite," she noted.

Oracle Advisory Group is no stranger to Azerbaijan, having conducted exit polls in the country seven times over the past decade. The latest survey, carried out between July 29 and August 9, involved 3,000 respondents and was administered by 40 staff members.
