Number of observers registered for Azerbaijan’s parliamentary elections grows

A total of 94 international observers from 23 countries and five institutions have been registered for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, scheduled for September 1, 2024, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at today's meeting, Report informs.

Panahov further stated that 8,825 local observers have been registered to participate in the elections: "Some 4,622 of them were registered in the CEC, and 4,203 were registered in the District Election Commissions (DECs)."
