Number of children subjected to violence in Azerbaijan this year revealed

In ten months of this year, 81 children were subjected to violence, Bahar Muradova, the chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, said at the regional conference themed "The protection of children in difficult living conditions and improvement of local mechanisms" held in Ganja, Report informs.

According to her, within ten months of this year, the State Committee received 15 appeals from various sources regarding sexual harassment, four regarding child suicide and attempted suicide, and 12 regarding children exposed to street life.
