Azerbaijan posts increase in population

Azerbaijan's population increased by 9,016 people or 0.1 percent from the beginning of the year and reached 10,189,786 people on April 1, 2024, Report informs via State Statistical Committee.

It was reported that 54.5 percent of the total population are urban, 45.5 percent are rural residents.

At the same time, 49.8 percent are men, and 50.2 percent are women.
