More than 60 countries in the world suffer from mine terrorism and unexploded ordnance, Aygun Aliyeva, the executive director of the Agency of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of Azerbaijan, told reporters at the International Baku Forum themed "Healthy environment and mine-free life to achieve sustainable development goals", Report informs.
She said that Azerbaijan is also on this list: "This topic does not lose its relevance. We want to draw the attention of the international community."
Aliyeva appealed to international organizations to support this initiative.
