Minister: Global warming affects water resources

Global warming is happening today, which of course, has an impact on water resources, Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Mukhtar Babayev said at a panel meeting titled "The age of mega threats: climate security, food security, nuclear security" within the framework of the 10th Global Baku Forum, Report informs.
He noted that the risks associated with climate change are not concentrated in one country and should be discussed at the regional level.
According to the minister, floods have become more frequent in Azerbaijan.
Mukhtar Babayev noted that restoration work is being carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, "smart cities" are being created and "green" technologies are being introduced there.
