The whole world should know the cruelty of Vagif Khachartyan's gang, Pusta Kazimova, a resident of the Meshali village of Khojaly region, told Report's Western bureau.
She said she has never forgotten the atrocities committed by the armed Armenian grouping including Khachatryan in Meshali: "The enemy attacked when the peaceful residents of Meshali were sleeping. We woke up to the sounds of gunshots. We tried to leave the house, but they did not allow us to do that. Their goal was to terminate the villagers. They killed my 53-year-old uncle mercilessly. If the village did not receive help, they would have killed everyone."
Kazimova said that they had faced the savagery of the Armenians before. She also described what happened to her brother: "My brother Ramil Kazimov worked as a driver in the emergency medical brigade in 1990. At that time, my uncle's daughter, who was seriously ill, had to undergo surgery immediately. My brother set out to deliver her to Khojaly. At that time, the Armenians set ambushes on the highways, stoned cars, deliberately opened fire with automatic weapons and damaged vehicles. When my brother returned from the Khojaly hospital after taking my cousin there, he was shot by the Armenians and wounded in both legs. Nevertheless, he was able to get the ambulance out of there while injured. Armenians were so mean that they opened fire on an ambulance. They even blocked the car with civilians in it, poured gasoline on it and tried to set it on fire. They never abandoned their policy of hostility. The world should know about all these atrocities."
"Thankfully, as a result of President Ilham Aliyev's policy, Armenians received the response they deserved both in the political arena and on the battlefield. Although many years have passed, the arrest and prosecution of people like Vagif Khachatryan has increased our hope that other Armenian terrorists will also be brought to account," Kazimova said.
