Prosecutor General holds operational meeting in Khankandi – UPDATED

An operational meeting was held at the Prosecutor's Office of Khankandi under the chairmanship of Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, with the participation of staff from the Prosecutor General's Office, as well as prosecutors from Khankandi, Aghdam, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Khojaly, Khojavand, Kalbajar, Gubadli, Lachin, Zangilan, and the city of Shusha, alongside military prosecutors from Aghdam, Fuzuli, Kalbajar, Gubadli, and Tartar.

According to a Report correspondent in Khankandi, the meeting participants discussed in detail the organization of prosecutorial activity in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, ensuring the institutional sustainability of the law enforcement system, crime prevention measures, and protection of citizens' rights.

In his speech, the Prosecutor General also emphasized the importance of fully ensuring the rule of law in the liberated areas.

Kamran Aliyev stressed that the functioning of the law enforcement system in the liberated territories is a true manifestation of the state’s sovereignty and the strength of legal institutions.

The meeting also focused on establishing trust-based, law-abiding relationships with the local population and intensifying anti-crime efforts.

An operational meeting will be held in Khankandi with the participation of the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev, as well as prosecutors of the liberated regions, Report informs.

The meeting will be held in the administrative building of the city prosecutor's office. It will be attended by 11 civilian and 5 military prosecutors from the regions liberated from occupation.

The agenda includes a discussion of the organization of the activities of the prosecutor's office in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
