Islambek Mursabekov: Heydar Aliyev - symbol of modern Azerbaijan

Great leader Heydar Aliyev is a symbol of modern Azerbaijan, the director of the Bishkek branch of the International Institute for Democracy Monitoring of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Islambek Mursabekov said, Report informs.

“The basis of cultural and political cooperation between our countries, laid by Heydar Aliyev, is currently being continued by Ilham Aliyev. Last year, during the state visit of President Aliyev to Kyrgyzstan, an Interstate Council was established between the two countries, a number of agreements were signed, and a park of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani friendship was opened in Bishkek,” he said.

Islambek Mursabekov also stressed that Heydar Aliyev's authority in the Turkic world is very high.
