Ilham Aliyev: "The five principles we present reflect good international behavior"

"The five principles we present reflect the norms of international law, good international behavior," President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with a delegation led by Polish Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairman-in-Office Zbigniew Rau on March 31, Report informs.

"As they say, we do not invent the bicycle here. All these principles are the basic principles of interstate relations between any countries," the head of state noted.

"Mutual recognition of territorial integrity and inviolability of international borders, followed by delimitation of borders - I believe peace will come to the Caucasus. We want it. We see the potential for active cooperation in the South Caucasus between the three countries of the South Caucasus. It will be important not only for these countries but also for the wider region. Of course, all these issues need to be addressed very carefully and on time. I am happy to have the opportunity to discuss these and other important issues with you," he said.
