Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva inaugurate new blocks of ADA

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva have attended the opening of two new blocks of ADA University.

According to Report, rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev briefed President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on the new buildings' conditions. He said that the construction was carried out in 2016-2019. They have all the facilities for the most modern training. There will be an assembly hall for 535 people, classrooms and group rooms, a library, and laboratories for teachers and students. Classrooms are equipped with a translation system, smart boards, and other necessary teaching material.

The faculties of State and Public Relations and Business Economics of ADA University locate one of the new blocks. About 1,500 students, including citizens of 45 countries, study here. So far, ADA University has trained 2,000 diplomats and civil servants.

The other one is the ADA College-type ADA School, which started operating in 2019. About 500 10th and 11th-grade students study at ADA School in Azerbaijani and English.

The President and the First Lady also got acquainted with the conditions in the campus park. The central part of the park, with more than 4 hectares, is a green zone. This recreation area has a maximum natural environment, including lakes.

Hafiz Pashayev informed President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on the university's future work plan.
