ICRC issues statement on Azerbaijanis missing during 1st Karabakh War

There are no detainees of Azerbaijani origin visited by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia in connection with the conflict, said Ilaha Huseynova, head of the public relations department of the committee's Baku office, Report informs.
According to her, at the moment, the parties hold no one detained during the First Karabakh War:
"However, there are people of Armenian origin jailed in connection with the conflict in 2020, and visits to them continue. Both the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides claim that those who have been missing since the 1990s have survived and are being held by the opposite side. However, both sides have officially announced that they do not have captives detained in the 1990s."
