Barbaric ruins and desolation of old Fuzuli is a tragic reminder of occupation, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev, wrote on X, Report informs.

He said that on October 17, 2020, Fuzuli was liberated from the 30-year-long military occupation of Armenia: “Former IDPs and refugees are returning to newly built apartments, and kids are going to schools. Young residents of Fuzuli are celebrating the City Day of Fuzuli - 17th October 2020 Liberation of Fuzuli from occupation of Armenia - with a wonderful concert program. With the diplomatic community, we were delighted to join them,” Hajiyev said.
