“When I visited the territories that were subjected to rocket attacks in Ganja, I felt like I was at war,” Radek Smolka, head of the Czech Youth Association, said in an interview with Report’s Western bureau.
Smolka noted that he was very upset by what he saw: “Civilians, and especially children, should not become victims of the war. I was very shocked to see children’s toys on the ruins. It is unacceptable to launch rocket attacks on the civilian population. I didn’t see the war, but after what I saw, I felt all its horrors.”
An international conference entitled “War crimes: attacks on civilians” was held in Ganja on October 17.
