Fuad Aliyev congratulates Ilham Aliyev on victory in elections

Independent candidate Fuad Aliyev congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the presidential elections, the presidential candidate's campaign headquarters said in a statement, Report informs.

The statement said that the presidential elections in Azerbaijan were held in a peaceful atmosphere, equal conditions were created for all candidates and election observers, and the entire electoral process was organized by the Central Election Commission within the framework of the law.

“Preliminary election results indicate that the people of Azerbaijan have placed great confidence in the candidate from the New Azerbaijan Party, Ilham Aliyev. We congratulate him on this victory and wish the president success in all his steps for the development of Azerbaijan and further improvement of the well-being of our people,” the statement read.
