French lawyer of Azerbaijani origin accuses pro-Armenian politicians of disinformation

Members of the Azerbaijani community who took part in the round table meeting on the topic “War between Armenia and Azerbaijan and Return of Big Geopolitical Games in Eurasia” in Geneva exposed the lies of Armenians and pro-Armenian politicians, Report informs referring to the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.

Ex-president of Switzerland Micheline Anne-Marie Calmy-Rey, university professors Ozcan Yilmaz and Vikken Ceteryan spoke at the round table, organized at the initiative of the Armenian Diaspora at the Institute of Global Studies of the University of Geneva.

Zaur Sadigbayli, a lawyer of Azerbaijani origin living in France, protested to the moderator Valentina Calzolari and Micheline Calmy-Rey in connection with their presentation of incorrect information about the Karabakh realities and the Zangazur corridor. He called the spread of misinformation unacceptable.

Despite the attempts of the Armenians, the moderator and the ex-president to prevent him, Sadigbayli told the participants of the event about the fair position of the Azerbaijani people and historical facts.

He noted that Karabakh is an ancestral Azerbaijani land and has always been part of Azerbaijan, and the point in connection with the opening of the Zangazur corridor was reflected in the tripartite statement dated November 10, 2020.
