Forum on topic 'Calls for Return to Western Azerbaijan' held in Almaty

An event entitled "Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan International Forum - Calls for Return to Western Azerbaijan" dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev has been held in Almaty.

According to Report, the forum was organized jointly by the Agency for State Support to NGOs, the Kyzylbash Youth Education Public Association, the UNESCO Representative Office in Kazakhstan, the World Union of Ahiska Turks, the Silk Road Public Diplomacy Foundation and the Western Azerbaijan Community.

An exhibition dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was also organized within the forum.

The exhibition featured photographs reflecting Heydar Aliyev's policy towards the countries of Central Asia and the Turkic states, as well as photographs related to Azerbaijan's cultural and historical heritage in Western Azerbaijan.

A final declaration was adopted and a commemorative photograph was taken at the end of the event.
