Festival 'Western Azerbaijan – Our Homeland' held in Khachmaz

As part of the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty," the Khachmaz District hosted a cultural festival titled "Western Azerbaijan – Our Homeland", organized jointly by the local executive authority and the Western Azerbaijan Community (WAC).

According to Report's Northern Bureau, the event took place in Victory Park and brought together district officials, members of the Milli Majlis, representatives of the intelligentsia, WAC members, civil society figures, and local residents.

Festival guests were introduced to an exhibition highlighting the history, culture, and culinary traditions of Western Azerbaijan. The program featured performances of ashig art, traditional yalli dances, and artistic readings that reflected the rich cultural heritage of the region.

Particular interest was drawn to displays showcasing the daily life, traditions, and cuisine of both Western Azerbaijan and the Khachmaz District. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore local products and learn about the district's flourishing horticulture and diverse fruit production.

Organizers highlighted that newly established processing and manufacturing enterprises in the region contribute to the growth of local entrepreneurship and play a key role in creating jobs for the population.

The festival concluded with a vibrant concert program featuring performances by well-known artists.
