The northwestern region of Azerbaijan witnessed the commencement of voting in the snap parliamentary elections on Sunday.
According to the local bureau of Report, polling stations across the Oguz, Gabala, and Shaki districts opened their doors to voters eager to cast their ballots.
The Oguz-Gabala-Sheki Constituency No. 117 boasts a total of 64 polling stations, with 8 equipped with web cameras and 20 featuring ramps for enhanced accessibility. The constituency has registered a total of 54,690 voters, including 554 first-time voters ready to exercise their democratic right.
A staggering 772 observers are set to monitor the voting process in the constituency, underlining Azerbaijan's commitment to upholding electoral integrity.
