Community leader: All troubles in South Caucasus stem from Armenian lies

The Armenian falsification and Armenian lies are at the heart of all the troubles that have befallen not only our people, but also all the peoples of the South Caucasus over the past 200 years, Chairman of the West Azerbaijan Community Aziz Alakbarli said, Report informs.

He was speaking at the conference held within the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” and dedicated to the World Book and Copyright Day on the topic “Ancient texts and classical sources expose Armenian falsifications and fabrications, or the realities of Zangazur, which is ancestral Azerbaijani-Turkic land.”

"How did the Armenians manage to convince the world of their lies? The point is that the Armenians have never had a state, a history of statehood. And throughout history they have dreamed of it. In world history, such peoples tend to invent myths for themselves. Armenians also invented such myths, including the myth of 'Armenia from the sea to the sea', the myth that the first person in the world was an Armenian and spoke Armenian, that Prophet Noah said 'Yerevume' in the modern Armenian language created by Khachatur Abovyan in the mid-19th century to the first land he saw when he came down from Mount Agri, and the myth that the name of the Yerevan city entered the Armenian scientific, public and political lexicon in 1936 originated from there," he noted.
