62 political parties operate in Azerbaijan

"Last year, seven political parties were registered in Azerbaijan."

Report informs that, Chief of Registration and Notary General Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilgar Mammadov said in a video conference on the results of 2020.

According to him, currently, there are 62 political parties in Azerbaijan: "Most of these political parties are active and have become partners in political dialogue. We have witnessed the unification of active parties around the Supreme Commander-in-Chief during the Great Patriotic War. But some parties are generally inactive. They do not hold meetings under the law and do not submit their reports on time."
