Chairman of Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Religious Institutions meets Baha'i International Community representative

Ramin Mammadov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Religious Institutions of Azerbaijan, met with the Principal Representative of the Baha’i International Community to the United Nations, Bani Dugal, Report informs citing the State Committee.

Ramin Mammadov stressed that President Ilham Aliyev always pays attention to the support for the existing religious denominations in the country.

It was noted that the rich experience of Azerbaijan in the development of intercultural dialogue, protection of religious and cultural diversity, as well as regulation of mutual relations between civilizations is hailed all over the world.

Bani Dugal expressed her gratitude for the continuous attention and care shown to the activities of the religious denominations, including members of the Baha'i communities, in Azerbaijan. He also highlighted the importance Azerbaijan attaches to the development and strengthening of interreligious harmony.
