Cambodian politician: YAP's work in last 30 years highly appreciated

The influence of political parties in the decision-making process in the world is an undeniable fact, Kheav Sambat, a member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, said at the special conference of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) on "Peace and security: the role of political parties" held in Baku.

He said that the work done by the New Azerbaijan Party in the last 30 years is highly appreciated, and it has led to the prosperity and development of the country.

The committee member also said that Cambodia supports peace which is the basis of the country's policy:

"We have experienced war. That is why we value peace. Nothing is possible without peace. Although our country is small, it tries to contribute to peace in our region. War has taught us the importance of multilateral dialogue and mutually beneficial agreements."
