Azerbaijan launches database of families impeding their daughters' education

In a move to promote educational opportunities for girls, local executive bodies in Azerbaijan have established a comprehensive database targeting families that impede their daughters’ education.

This initiative was highlighted in the Cabinet of Ministers’ report of annual activities, Report informs.

The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic on Family, Women and Children’s Problems conducted home visits last year to engage with these families directly.

Necessary measures have been taken in order to assess and control families that distract their daughters from education.
