Book on repressed locals presented in Aghdam

A book about the local residents of the Aghdam region who suffered from repressions throughout various historical periods was presented in the Aghdam district.

According to Report's Karabakh bureau, the presentation took place at the Mugham Center in the village of Guzanly.

The author of the book "Repressed Residents of Marzili and Other Villages of the Aghdam District" is historian and scholar Boran Aziz.

The author explained that the book is based on historical facts and documents, showing that repressions in Azerbaijan affected not only intellectuals but also families who were not involved in public or political activities.

"An example of this are the residents of the village of Marzili and other nearby settlements. We will continue our research in this area to bring the truth about the events of that time to the public," he said.
