Azerbaijani President extends condolence to his Pakistani counterpart

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a letter of condolence to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Arif Alvi, Report informs.
The letter reads:
"Dear Mr. President,
"We are deeply saddened by the news of numerous casualties and large-scale destruction resulting from heavy rains and floods in your country.
"Over this tragedy, on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, and on my own behalf, I extend deep condolences to you, families and the loved ones of those who died, and the brotherly people of Pakistan, wish those injured the swiftest possible recovery, and the soonest elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster.
"May Allah rest the souls of the dead in peace!"
