Azerbaijani people flocking to Martyrs' Alley to pay tribute to January 20 victims

The people of Azerbaijan honor the memory of the January 20 martyrs with respect, Report informs.

Since the morning hours, individuals have been flocking to the Alley of Martyrs to place fresh carnations on the martyrs' graves and remember their eternal sacrifice.

Notably, on the night of January 20, 1990, former Soviet Union troops invaded Baku and several districts of Azerbaijan targeting civilians with heavy machinery. That night, a total of 147 people were killed, and 744 were wounded.
