Azerbaijan forms expert, working groups to safeguard citizens’ electoral rights

An expert group has been established to investigate complaints about actions (inaction) and decisions that violate the electoral rights of citizens, Report informs.
The relevant decision was made at today’s meeting of the Azerbaijan Central Election Commission (CEC).
The expert group included CEC members Shaitdin Aliyev, Bakhsheish Asgarov, Naila Asgarova, Tofig Hasanov, Ramiz Ibrahimov, and Valida Kazimova.
Furthermore, a working group has also been created to verify the accuracy of information contained in signature lists, as well as in documents submitted by candidates, political parties, and blocs of political parties.
