Azerbaijan denies entry to 1,337 individuals in August for violating migration laws

Azerbaijan denied entry to 1,337 individuals in August for violating various provisions of the country's Migration Code.

The State Migration Service told Report that 1,092 people were barred from entering the country for violating Article 16.1.8 of the Migration Code, while 21 others were denied entry for violating other articles of the code.

In addition to denying entry, the authorities also imposed fines and administrative expulsion on 224 individuals for violating provisions of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan during the reporting period.
