Azerbaijan creates electronic system to control unauthorized construction

Azerbaijan is creating an electronic system of control over unauthorized construction and violation of urban planning rules, Report informs.

The joint project "Electronic system of urban planning control" was discussed during the meeting of the Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev with the newly appointed head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Azerbaijan Nuno Queiros.

The main goal of the project is to create an electronic control system for urban planning, to take measures to identify cases of unauthorized construction and demolition of objects, and, as a result, to strengthen state control over urban planning and construction activities.
