Another 95 IDPs leave for Aghali village

Another group of IDPs was sent from Masazir town in the Absheron district to the reconstructed village of Aghali in the Zangilan district, Report informs.

17 families consisting of 95 people who were temporarily settled in the cities of Baku, Sumgayit, and Absheron district will start living in their homeland.

They are residents of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Aghali villages, which were completely destroyed by the Armenians during the occupation.

With this, the number of families permanently settled in the Aghali village will reach 150 (744 people). Resettlement will continue.

Employees of the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts included in the East Zangazur economic region, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, the Zangilan district executive authority, and other officials took part in the departure ceremony.
