86 people applied to participate in parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

Eighty-six people in Azerbaijan have so far applied to become a candidate in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at today's CEC meeting, Report informs.
According to Panahov, checking signature sheets and other documents is not easy:
“So far, 86 people have applied for 48 constituencies. Collecting signatures requires effort. Therefore, this issue should be approached carefully.”
