Ukrainian army rescues Azerbaijani driver from Russian siege

In the Ukrainian city of Kryukov, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukrainian troops released a truck and its driver of an Azerbaijani company, who had been under siege for about a month, along with local residents, Chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Matlab Najafov told Report.
The truck of the Azerbaijani Wolf Transport company and its driver, Azerbaijani citizen Arif Aliyev, 1967, have been released from the siege. He is currently on Ukraine's border with Romania.
After completing the paperwork, Aliyev will be sent to Azerbaijan via European countries. The Ukrainian territorial self-defense unit rescued the Azerbaijani driver and other drivers from Turkey and Georgia from the siege and ensured their safety.
