Three US cities proclaim May 28 as Azerbaijan Independence Day

Three cities in the state of Florida - Hallandale Beach, Aventura and Miami-Dade - have proclaimed May 28 as the Azerbaijan Independence Day.
Report informs, citing the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, that Aventura Mayor Enid Weisman, Hallandale Beach Mayor Joy Cooper, Chairman of the Miami Beach County Office Jose 'Pepe' Dias and Miami Beach Mayor Daniella Levine Cava signed a declaration in this regard.
The officials of all the three cities have called on local residents to join the celebrations.
