The armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran has angered Azerbaijanis living in Switzerland, who demand justice from the international community, Report informs referring to the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.
The Coordinating Council of Swiss Azerbaijanis and the Association of Friendship, Culture and Solidarity of Swiss Azerbaijanis condemned the terror attack, as a result of which Orkhan Asgarov, head of the security service of Azerbaijan's embassy in Iran, was killed and two employees of the diplomatic mission were injured.
The Azerbaijanis of Switzerland, expressing their deep concern about the absence of any guarantees for the security of the diplomatic mission and the inviolability of people in Iran, noted the importance of taking urgent measures by the special services of this country to prevent such grave crimes.
"Our compatriots, who sharply condemned the fact that this country takes the same position as Armenia towards Azerbaijan, called on the Swiss government and the international community to take a fair position regarding what is happening in the region," the message says.
