An information stand dedicated to the Khojaly genocide was placed in the memorial complex erected in memory of the people killed by the Nazis in Ukraine, the Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv told Report.
It was reported that the monument is located in the village of Nova Sloboda, Sumy region of the country, and was erected in memory of nearly 600 people, including children, women and the elderly, who were killed by the Nazis in 1942. An information board dedicated to the massacres of Kryukova, Liditse, Khatyn, and Pirchupis was added to the "Bell of Sorrow" memorial.
The information stand about the Khojaly genocide has already been set up in the complex. The memorial complex has been taken under the auspices of the Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan, and support is provided for its maintenance and improvement.
In 2020, the Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan proposed the construction of an information board about the Khojaly Genocide at the "Bell of Sorrow" monument.
