At the 23rd high-level meeting in Athens, the Nizami Ganjavi International Center discussed preparations for the IX Global Baku Forum, a source in the Center told Report.

At the 23rd high-level meeting on the topic "Difficulties of the global world order: How to move forward?" the topics discussed were "Is multirealism dying?", "Revision of the global security layout", "War in Ukraine: Its impact on the world order", "UN reforms", "Azerbaijan's role in Europe's energy security", etc.

The event was attended by ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Dora Bakoyannis, ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Tzipi Livni, ex-First Lady of Ukraine Kateryna Yushchenko, ex-head of the League of Arab States Amr Moussa, ex-Prime Minister of Belgium Yves Leterme, ex-presidents of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev and Petar Stoyanov, 73rd President of the UN General Assembly Maria Espinosa, former presidents of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and Ivo Josipovic, former president of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanic, former prime minister of Moldova Chiril Gaburici, co-chair of the Center Ismail Serageldin. The event was attended by Secretary General of the Center Rovshan Muradov, Deputy Secretary General Ilaha Ibrahimli, Deputy former Prime Minister of Georgia Eka Tkeshelashvili.

Vaira Vike-Freiberga, co-chair of the Center, expressed special gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for the support provided to Ukraine, the World Health Organization and other countries in need of assistance in the most difficult time in the world after World War II.
