Alireza Ardabilli, a native of South Azerbaijan living in Sweden, editor-in-chief of the Tribune magazine and website, political observer, and writer has condemned the terrorist act committed at the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, as a result of which the head of the security service of the diplomatic mission was killed and two employees of the embassy were injured.
According to Report, he said Iran has been hostile towards Azerbaijan for a long time.
"Terrorist acts are the result of hostility, and we have observed this in Tehran. Iran is jealous about Azerbaijan's victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. Not a single statesman in Iran reacted to this terrorist attack," Ardabilli said.
A gunman stormed the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, killing the head of the embassy's security service on January 27. Two other officers of the security service were wounded while resisting the attack. Their condition is satisfactory.
The attacker was detained by employees of the Azerbaijani embassy.
