Commemoration ceremonies were held in Paris on the 19th anniversary of the death of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, the world-famous political figure, and the national leader of the Azerbaijani people.
The local bureau of Report informs that Leyla Abdullayeva, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France, Elman Abdullayev, the Permanent Representative to UNESCO, Samad Seyidov, the Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations, the Head of Azerbaijan's delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Jan Peren, the first Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan members of the diaspora and others participated at the event.
The event participants honored the national leader's memory with deep respect.
