Man, native of Azerbaijan, awarded for defending Kyiv

People who defended Ukraine's capital during the Russian attacks in February-March last year have been awarded.
According to Report's East European Bureau, among the award recipients is Guliyev Shamkhal Namig oglu, a native of the Zagatala region of Azerbaijan.
Shamkhal Guliyev, who has lived in Ukraine for a long time, was awarded the medal "For the Defense of Kyiv and the Kyiv Region" by the military administration of the Kyiv region.
Guliyev actively participated in the delivery of humanitarian aid. Last year, when public catering facilities suspended operations as a result of an unexpected attack by the Russian army, Guliyev ensured the delivery of aid to the population and self-defense units.
