Head of Azerbaijani society extracted from encirclement in Mariupol

Chairwoman of the United Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine (UCA) for Mariupol Afag Hamidova, her family, and several other Azerbaijanis was moved out of the encirclement.

According to the eastern European Bureau of Report, this happened through the "green corridor" agreed between Ukraine and Russia.

Afag Hamidova with a group of Azerbaijanis was surrounded in Mariupol as a result of the military operations launched by Russia on February 24 against Ukraine. Communication with them was interrupted for almost ten days.
